Bountiful Harvest

When Frank Jameson heeded the call on his life to relocate to an impoverished area, he never expected to find the love of his life. With the help of his MC Brothers, their old ladies and kids, will he make Dorrie realize that she's the one for him?

This book surprised me.

I’m not usually a fan of religious themed books. Being Pagan, I tend to find most are incredibly pushy and focus more on religion than on the story. With such great reviews, I decided to give Bountiful Harvest a chance.

Surprisingly, the religious tone was handled very well. While it was a large part of the story, it was more about how it led the personalities of Frank and Dorrie, and the way they interacted with each other and the community around them. You could easily step into their shoes and feel the first blush of a new relationship… the fears, the worries. The excitement and beauty of learning to love yourself and someone else again.

I loved that this wasn’t a typical MC story, it focused on community, on working together. On serving your fellow man and doing what you can to make your world a better place. All in all, an uplifting sweet romance with a heartfelt message. I will be sure to give more books from this author a try in the future.
